Serving Greater Vancouver & the Fraser Valley

Beulah Garden (BG) Homes has established a warm and inviting community for seniors in Vancouver. Over 70 years ago, a group of pensioners were concerned over the limited options for seniors housing. And so, the Senior Citizens’ Home Association (SCHA) was incorporated to address this shortage in Vancouver. Empowered with the proceeds from a Lions Club Mother’s Day carnation sale, the SCHA was able to purchase a city block. This accomplishment laid the foundation for future success in fulfilling their objective. In 1951, SCHA reorganized into a not-for-profit body, Beulah Garden Homes Society. Soon after in 1956, BG Homes became a partner ministry of the Canadian Baptists of Western Canada.

For the last 65 years, BG Homes has flourished into over 190 apartments for independent seniors, as well as 89 assisted living units and a community adult day centre. By providing different levels of care, we are promoting our aging-in-place philosophy. From the social activity calendars, to a library, weekly chapel and community events, there is no shortage of opportunities. BG Homes has remained steadfast in its mission of being a caring community championing Christian compassion.
