Paul, Apostle of Christ

Just in time for the Easter season, Paul, Apostle of Christ is releasing in select theatres across Canada. The official trailer has already released for this anticipated film that tells the epic story of the man who persecuted the early church only to become its greatest evangelist.

In Paul, Apostle of Christ, Luke (Jim Caviezel) risks his life to visit Paul (James Faulkner), who is held captive in a Roman prison under Nero’s rule. Together, they struggle against a determined emperor and the frailties of the human spirit in order to live out the Gospel of Jesus Christ and spread their message to the world.

Paul, Apostle of Christ brings to life on screen the powerful story of a man who changed the course of history through his committed faith, yet at great cost to himself,” Director and Screenwriter Andrew Hyatt says.

“We committed to create a film true to the biblical account of Paul’s life but also one that is dramatic and engaging,” said Producer T.J. Berden. “The trials faced by early Christians and their faith and bravery in spite of them will amaze audiences.”

The movie, filmed in Malta, is highly anticipated in part because of its acclaimed cast, notably Jim Caviezel (The Passion of the Christ), James Faulkner (Downton Abbey), Olivier Martinez (S.W.A.T.), Joanne Whalley (A.D. The Bible Continues), and John Lynch (The Secret Garden).
