The Canadian Bible Society is back!
The Canadian Bible Society (CBS) has been a staple in the community of greater Vancouver for years, providing resources and literature as a bookstore. With over 200 years of history in Canada, CBS has served as an extension of the church through translation, publication and distribution, reaching people with God’s Word in their own language.
With the changing times, the Canadian Bible Society has re-tooled and re-launched what was once their bookstore located on Kingsway & Fraser in Vancouver. This new venture has resulted in a modernized café and Scripture resource centre now located at 1207 Kingsway. Café Logos (logos means Word in Greek) opened with a soft launch last year and will welcome the community on Saturday, March 30 for their Grand Opening (9 am – 6 pm, with official ceremony at 4 pm). Celebrations will feature award-winning recording artists, Andrew Marcus and Ginalina, as well as appearances from special guests: Honorable Yonah Martin, MP Joe Peschisolido, Lester Marr, and Chase from PAW Patrol. Free coffee for all in attendance! For more information, visit www.biblesociety.ca/CafeLogosOpens.
