This retreat wields together times of stillness, journaling meditations, experiencing nature, art, poetry, song and much more.
The location of the retreat will be at Canadian Mennonite University. The retreat will take place begining on Friday, April 5th 7:00-9:00 pm and continuing on Saturday, April 6th from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
A beautiful concert will follow the retreat on Saturday, featuring Cathy AJ Hardy & Band. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
This retreat will be faciltatied by Luanne Hill and Cathy Hardy.
Luanne has been drawn to the work of “being with” individuals for much of her life. Most of her career as a nurse was focused on coming alongside women in various life stages as well as mentoring nursing students in developing compassionate presence with their clients. Following her desire to hear and hold one’s story and be in deep-dive conversations, Luanne studied the art of Spiritual Direction. She has found this to be a beautiful convergence of her longing to listen well and journey with others as they navigate all facets of life. Currently, Luanne is enjoying co-facilitating an online Anam Cara Circle.
Luanne lives in Winnipeg, MB with her husband Rick. They have many years of shared ministry experience together – the most recent being creating a small cabin retreat space on Lake Winnipeg for individuals or couples to come for rest and renewal. This is also a sacred space they enjoy being with their three married children and their families. Contact Info: email@example.com or through www.alongside.life.
