J. Plank (Jeff Plankenhorn) is a BC-based, internationally touring singer-songwriter and master of the lap steel guitar. Known for soulful vocals, dynamic stagecraft, and a sound that bridges roots, blues, and folk, he has spent decades captivating audiences across North America, Europe, and Japan. Plank is a highly respected musician recognized for his skill as a slide guitarist, songwriter, and vocalist, gaining acclaim both as a solo artist and as a sought-after session player. His style blends blues, folk, and roots into a sound that’s uniquely his own.
Ivan Boudreau is a Bez favourite who hosted a regular ‘songwriters in the round’ event called SongStage here for many years. He’s back after a brief sojourn in Alberta and we are so glad! A professional musician/songwriter, Ivan has been wandering minstrel for over 45 years, with deep roots in Nova Scotia, youthful years in Boston, Toronto and now calling British Columbia home. He has a driving passion for stories and songs that are honest and heartfelt. Ivan says, “Music and songs keep me alive!”
