We are delighted to invite all of our Pacific Voices friends, families and supporters to a special evening celebrating our shared love of choral music, in support of 70 of our singers travelling to Sweden for the 2026 World Choir Games:
Sangerfest Gala: Songs of the Midnight Sun
Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Heritage Alliance Church
This year’s Gala promises to be an unforgettable celebration—one that transports you straight into the heart of Scandinavia.
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed with handcrafted mocktails, followed by a Scandinavian-themed feast, dinner music by the Vancouver Groove Jazz Combo, and a beautifully curated evening of artistry and storytelling. Choral entertainment will be provided by Elevate, Summit and Resonate divisions, whose performances never fail to inspire, uplift, and remind us why music matters so deeply.
We are especially excited to share that the set and décor are being designed by Chalie Howes, the creative force behind the prestigious Crystal Gala. Guests will be drawn into a Nordic landscape inspired by the Scandinavian countries—complete with a live Maypole and appetizers and desserts enjoyed in true Scandinavian style.
Guiding us through the evening will be our wonderful emcees, David and Colette Squires—long-time music lovers, composers, and faculty members at the Trinity Western University Music Department.
And yes… the much-loved LIVE auction is back! Get ready for real auctioneering, memorable items, and plenty of excitement as we raise vital funds to support the artistic and educational work of Pacific Voices. A silent auction will also be a feature of the evening.
