The Payroll and Benefits Specialist ensures that Columbia Bible College fulfills its stewardship obligations to our employees through accurate, timely payroll processing and thoughtful benefits administration. This role is foundational to maintaining trust with our team members—people who have chosen to invest their gifts and calling in Christian higher education.
Working within the Finance department, you will manage semi-monthly payroll processing, benefits enrollment and administration, pension plan coordination, and regulatory compliance. While primarily transactional in nature, this work directly supports our mission by enabling staff and faculty to focus on their ministry of equipping students for lives of discipleship, leadership, and service.
This temporary position has been created as we restructure our HR functions. We are seeking someone who can maintain operational continuity during this transition period, with the potential for the role to continue or expand based on organizational needs and mutual fit. For the right candidate, this could be an entry point into a growing role within a mission-driven organization.
