Flex Academy is a JK-12 brick-and-mortar school which is a division of Heritage Christian Online School located in Kelowna, BC. In this Christ-focused, campus-based program, we are combining the best of classroom experience with the versatility of online tools to develop a hybrid model of education that makes education as expansive and flexible as possible.
The Position
Flex Academy has an opening for a Grade 10-12 Math & Science Teacher for the 2026-27 school year! This is a part-time (0.5-0.7 FTE) position, working 20-28 hours per week. Flex Academy teachers educate students within a flexible educational model and support their academic, spiritual, and social-emotional growth with a focus on individualized education.
As a Flex Academy Teacher, your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Deliver quality instruction for both academic and spiritual growth of student
- Plan, teach, assess and report, while maintaining good classroom management
- Collaborate with other departments as necessary
- Plan field trips and participate in school and staff meetings, and parents meetings
- Maintaining daily communication with students, families and staff
- Actively participate as member of staff team

0.5-0.7 FTE position - Competitive wage: $26,653 – $62,172* based on 0.5-0.7 FTE, depending upon years of experience and education level. *Please note that amounts are currently based on 2025-26 wages and will be adjusted for the 2026-27 school year
