K. van Delden & Associates Ltd is a small accounting and tax firm in Surrey, serving many clients from BC to Saskatchewan.  First begun as Truckers’ Financial Services in the early 2000’s, it has evolved into a registered CPA practice, owned and operated by Kevin van Delden, who retired from teaching at Christian schools and became a CPA in 2012.  Although teaching and accounting/tax seem a world apart, planning for accounting and taxation is in large part a teaching process with each client, laying out the groundwork of understanding how accounting and tax play a big part in running a business while preparing for retirement in the future and a transition out of the business.

K. van Delden & Associates will help your business with all the government required filings, including personal and corporate tax returns, WCB, GST, PST, payroll, and whatever else may be required.  In the days of Covid, working on payroll subsidies, BC Business Recovery Grant, rental subsidies, and offering advice about CERB.  We have two fantastic bookkeepers who are quick and accurate, and so friendly to talk too.

Not to be forgotten are those yearly personal tax returns.  Whether online or in the office, we can complete any personal tax return and submit those T4s, rental or business statements or investment returns.

I believe that any business operates for the good of the staff and the clients.  While I need to earn a living, so do you.  I believe that you should be able to call me without having to worry about an invoice each time.  Some people don’t call their accountant for fear of an invoice and then make mistakes because of a lack of understanding or advice.  Sometimes, a quick call will do the trick.  Often, what may be lost revenue becomes excellent goodwill, a referral to someone else, or other opportunities.

Ultimately, I believe that my business operates for the glory of God.  My calling on this earth includes my job and everyone God leads to interact with me.  My goal, and the goal of the company, is to serve you to the best of our ability with the gifts God has given to us, and with that, to bring God the glory.
