Passover this year is April 12-20, 2025 and Easter is April 18-20, 2025. When we think back 2,000 years ago, Jesus and his disciples made their way to Jerusalem to celebrate the Passover, and together they shared the Last Supper. Jesus broke bread, and gave it to His disciples,”Take eat: this is my body.” then took the cup, “Drink this in remembrance of Me.” Jesus prophesied that He would be betrayed, and Judas left early to do just that. The result was Jesus being crucified between two criminals, one who would be forgiven; shedding His blood for our sins, and Jesus resurrection from the dead, giving us eternal life when we believe. God’s perfect plan had been accomplished in three days. Our salvation had been purchased completely, and all we need to do is accept Jesus as our Saviour and Lord. Praise the Lord! The 1st Easter.
Christian Service Brigade
Your Boys – Your Men – Your Church. Christian Service Brigade makes this our priority. CSB comes alongside the men of your church to build the boys of your community for Christ. It isn’t so much what CSB is doing through the Tree Climber, Stockade and Battalion programs, it’s how men in your church are inspired by God to reach the boys in your greater community. Your Church – Your Men – Your Boys. The local church is the starting point for reaching the community with the Good News. CSB provides proven programs that build upon “Godly Action Wrapped in Biblical Truth”. Men are trained to build wholesome relationships with their sons, church family, and friends in the neighbourhood. Families in Your Community are looking for Christ-centred fellowship that builds their children mentally, physically, spiritually and socially – Luke 2:52. Christians want to fulfil Christ’s Great Commission. CSB can help: www.csbcan.ca.

A Serious Issue: When a Lighthouse chaplain first met chief officer Wung aboard his ship, the seafarer was dressed in a heavier camouflage jacket with his hood on. This Chinese mariner was cordial but not very talkative. The chaplain asked Wung about whether he believes in life after death, and he responded in the negative. When questioned further about how the world was created, the seafarer didn’t reply but seemed spurred on to consider this issue. The chaplain was able to show Wung some Scripture in a Chinese-English New Testament and encouraged him to read the Gospel of John. A very significant comment was made by Wung after John 20:30-31 was pointed out to him; he said very seriously: “This should be read very carefully.” The seafarer later asked if he could keep the New Testament that he had been reading from.
