Food Recovery for Humanitarian Aid
P/T BOOKKEEPER- Are you eager to use your bookkeeping and organizational skills to make a global impact? Fraser Valley Gleaners (FVG) in Abbotsford is a not-for-profit organization that turns recovered food into humanitarian aid to feed hungry people around the world in Jesus’ name. If you’re a friendly, organized and detail-oriented individual with bookkeeping experience, and your values align with FVG’s, then this role might be perfect for you. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and detailed financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, maintaining donor records and documentation for charitable giving and preparing monthly financial statements and reports as well as other related administrative tasks. Permanent salaried part-time position based on $22 – $25/hr, to be negotiated, dependent on qualifications and experience. 3 mornings/week with possible additional availability required during busy seasons (year-end, tax time, etc.). Knowledge of MS Office including Excel and bookkeeping experience with Sage or Quickbooks required.
