The streets of Surrey will once again echo with songs of praise and joyful celebration as March4Jesus returns for its 5th annual event on Saturday, September 20th, 2025. This year’s gathering will feature a public parade of believers followed by an outdoor worship festival at Holland Park, celebrating the unity and diversity of Surrey’s Christian community.
10 – 11 am: Parade of Believers
Meet at 106th Avenue near Whalley Athletic Park. March with banners and international flags along University Boulevard to Holland Park. Churches and community groups are invited to walk in unity, representing their congregations.
11 am – 4 pm: Worship & Praise Festival at Holland Park
Enjoy an afternoon of live worship bands, dancers, flaggers, multicultural praise, and more. The park will be filled with booths, family-friendly entertainment, and free food, provided by local churches.
The Caribou Hill Marching Band will welcome marchers into the park to begin the festivities.
A community united in Christ
Last year, over 12 churches and organizations participated – many from ethnic congregations, who brought food, culture, and a strong family presence. This year, more than 200 churches in Surrey and nearby communities have been invited.
Due to increasing costs for road closures, this year’s walk will take place along the sidewalks of University Drive, with Worship Road Radio (a Vancouver-based Christian online station) broadcasting praise music throughout the route.
The event has been moved to early September to increase church participation and avoid conflicts with summer schedules.
