EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Beacon Christian School in St. Catharines, Ontario is searching for a Principal to be part of their passionate, Christ-centred community committed to growth, grace, and excellence. As Principal, you will help shape the next chapter of Beacon’s story, influence future generations for Christ, and work alongside a collaborative leadership team and supportive board.
The Principal is a key member of the leadership team and is responsible for the daily academic and operational leadership of the school. Working in partnership with the Executive Director and Beacon Christian School Board, the Principal ensures alignment between the mission and strategic plan, and leads a dedicated team of educators in delivering high-quality, Christ-centered education.
As Beacon moves forward with a bold strategic vision—including program enhancements, facility development, and potential preschool expansion—the Principal will guide this growth while fostering a culture of grace, excellence, and belonging.

Beacon Christian School is a thriving JK–Grade 8 independent Christian school in the heart of Niagara, serving 410 students from more than 70 church communities. For over 65 years, Beacon has been equipping students to impact communities by serving Christ. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree and current teaching certification (OCT or equivalent).
Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or equivalent (preferred).
5+ years of leadership experience in Christian elementary education.
Proven ability to lead teams and navigate school-wide change.
Deep understanding of child development ages 3-14, and related pedagogy.
Demonstrated alignment with Beacon’s Statement of Faith.
Active involvement in a local Christian church.
