God’s promises
I believe Lord Jesus Christ is a Healer as well as a Saviour! Come along with me beloved ones, let’s believe, BELIEVE, God’s Word! God send HIS WORD to heal us. Ps. 107:20
Lord Jesus said we do not live by bread alone but by every Word that proceeds from the mouth of God. Mat. 4:4, Luke 4:4. I believe ‘God’s Word’ has kept me ‘alive’ as I am now 87 years old! Daily praying, speaking, aloud God’s WORD over my life and ministry, workers and family as well. There is God Almighty’s Power in God’s Word! Jesus Christ said in John 6:63, “My Word is LIFE and Spirit!”
Almighty God is alert and active, ready to perform HIS Word! Jer. 1:12, Please see Rom. 4:16-21. Let’s follow Father Abraham who said God calls things that be not as they were. And then they come into being. He did not give up hope nor waver in unbelief! He did not consider his body (5 senses) but believed what God had promised! He believed God will fulfill His promises! Let’s do likewise! Our Father, God, is NOT a man that could lie! Num. 23:19, Amen!
There are two laws on planet earth, the law of sin and death that we Christians are no longer under! Rom. 7:4. Say aloud Rom. 8:1-2 “There is now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after Holy Spirit! For the law of the Holy Spirit of LIFE IN CHRIST JESUS has made me Free from the law of sin and death.” Life IN Christ brings healing! Gal. 2:19-20. The law we are free from brought sin and death (+sickness) is for the heathen (unsaved), not God’s people who have sincerely received Jesus Christ as LORD and pursue to follow HIM. Rom. 7:4. Amen! No wonder we are called the bride of Christ! Hallelujah!
Deut. 7:15 “And the LORD (Yahweh) will take away from you all sickness!”
Exodus 23:25 “And you shall serve the LORD your God and He shall bless your bread and your water; (food) and I will take sickness from the midst of you!”
This is God’s Word to Christians!
Even in the Old Testament, God is a Healing LORD! He says if you serve God, God will heal you! So, let’s serve God in whatever way He enables us! Let’s shine for Jesus at home, work, church and everywhere! Let the LIGHT of Christ ‘Shine Jesus Shine’! Daily I encourage you ‘Deny yourself (old sinful nature) pick up the Cross and Follow Jesus Christ DAILY! Luke 9:23
The Cross of Christ is our Victory Cry! See Col. 2:12-15 Lets believe God’s Word and pray, even speak aloud daily God’s promises, verses for our health, joy, victory, safety and being more than a Conqueror through God who LOVES US ! See Rom. 8:37, 1 Peter 2:24. Amen and Hallelujah!
Let’s remember, believe, BELIEVE, Yeshua our Messiah, bore (took) our sins in HIS own body on the tree that we being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose (Jesus Christ) stripes WE ARE healed. Thank you, Saviour and Healer!
What Hinders our healing?
It has come to my attention so clearly that even in a government that goes to war all recruits must pass a physical! No one goes to war in a sling, crutches or wheelchair. Therefore, I have reasoned with my Wonderful Master and KING, Lord Jesus Christ, God You must want your army to march “whole” in Revival! God fulfill 1 Peter 2:24! Next, I reflect on what is hindering wholeness for Revival in Jesus Christ’s Army!
See 2 Tim. 2:4. Most Christians would say, sin, forgiveness, being disobedient in life style! All this is true indeed. But let’s go deeper! Romans chapter 7:4 says, “We have become dead to the law (of sin and death) by the Body (of Christ) and we are married to Jesus and bear fruit.”
I reason that law brought satan and sickness.
Alas, we Christians are to go forth under the NEW LAW of Life (includes healing) IN Christ Jesus, free from the law of sin and death. Rom. 8:1 & 2 I perceive we must “live” in “Power”, Kingdom Power as we are “dead” through Christ’s crucifixion to our old sinful nature! In the old nature, satan and sickness can come too easy to trouble. See Ephesians 4:20-24. Daily, I encourage you, and I do so myself, speak God’s Word to help “go forth” in our new nature in Christ Lordship!
Luke 9:23 Jesus said, “Deny yourself (old nature) pick up the Cross and follow Christ daily.” “Daily” we need the Victory! Beloved Christians, choose to walk in your NEW Nature in Christ Lordship! Then, back it up by speaking “God’s Word” to help the Victory!
Romans 8:13 “If you live after the flesh (old nature) you die (can be sick!) but IF you, through the Holy Spirit, mortify (put to death) the deeds of the body you shall LIVE!” In health, we pray!
I have put together a small booklet of “Scriptural Prayer” there is one for “Victory over flesh” (old nature). Please request one!
Another hindrance could perhaps be God allowing some of satan “troubling time” to “try our faith”! 1 Peter 1:7. Forgiveness! Lord’s Prayer! (Mt. 6:12) Alas “be of Good Courage” as Jesus Christ said: Romans 8:18 “The suffering of this world cannot compare to God’s Glory that will be revealed” We remember Job, and “Victory when he prayed for other!” Alas, recall we are under a Better Covenant and Better Promises and Jesus is our MEDIATOR of them. Hebrews 8:6
Lastly, as my favourite author, Andrew Murray said, we must Believe! Believe! Believe! Never doubt! God wants HIS army whole to Love and serve Him in HIS victorious army!
