It is the intention of the “Peace Country Gospel Jamboree Association” to present these events in a God honoring, Holy Spirit guided, family friendly way.
Artists:
Like branches on a tree, we all grow in different directions, and yet our roots remain as one. We are family…a circle of strength, founded in faith, joined in love- kept by God.
Over the past nine years God’s plan for Crimson River has unfolded. Like the building of a puzzle, seven people came together to form a beautiful picture of God’s will.
Christ’s love ran red down the cross. He freed us from our sin and we are no longer the same. So, from this is where our bands name came to life. We understand that we are in the presence of God. We walk humbly with God. We want to do the will of God. Every time we step out of our front doors into the world or onto a stage to sing we long for the fragrance of God to be ever before us, around us, and even as we go behind us. At the end of each day we want to be able to say we have done our best to show God’s love to the world. We want to one day hear from God “Well done faithful servant.” Family isn’t always blood…God longs for all His children to seek him, to come home, to be part of His family. Wherever God leads us we will go. We love to share God’s message of love through song.
To show those who are searching the way home…
OUTSET has a passion to lead Canada’s younger generations into a celebration of praise for their Creator. This six-sibling band sets the stage for new beginnings, bringing a clear outlook and hope for the future. Their music is an eclectic blend of pop, contemporary worship, Celtic, and country-rock. The concerts that they present combine a positive message with exceptional musicianship. In every song and during every concert, OUTSET inspires hope and joy through Jesus.
Canada’s Double Portion from North Battleford, Saskatchewan is a unique group in many ways. This 5 piece Gospel band is made up of parents Duncan & Debbie Hemmerling and 7 of their 10 children. Juggling homework and musical instruments is a daily routine for the youngest Hemmerling children. They trade in riding the school bus for riding across the country in Canada’s Double Portion tour bus for almost half the year.
2019 marks the 37th year of ministry for this veteran group. Originating with Duncan and his three sisters, Canada’s Double Portion has crisscrossed the continent from Newfoundland to British Columbia, Georgia to Alaska. Three decades of travel have provided unique experiences like singing on the Grand Ole’ Opry stage, backing up Johnny & June Cash at a Cash/Rivers family reunion and performing with many of Gospel music’s premier groups at North America’s largest events. However, experience has taught this family that the smaller things in life are often the most rewarding!
Quinn Throness is a 20 year old Christian singer-songwriter and recording artist from LaGlace, Alberta. The family farm she grew up on doubles as a youth even centre, so Quinn was exposed to all types of Christian music from a young age. This gave her a love for the genre and the message. Quinn has been releasing music since March of 2023, including her first full length album “Open Door.” Now, she continues to write, record and release music, hoping that the lyrics can encourage people to grow or begin a relationship with the God who created them.
Before the Throne is a contemporary Christian band from the Peace Country. Comprised of 8 young adults from two small country churches, the band exists to sing and play music that is honouring to Jesus Christ. As youth leaders, the band sees the need for music that their generation will listen to and that also draws them to the Saviour. Their ensemble includes instruments like electric guitar, while also adding the country gospel flair of mandolin and violin.
Rooted in Grace, the Berreth family is a grassroots family band devoted to sharing the love of Jesus through heartfelt Country Gospel music. Built on the foundation of faith, family, and fellowship, this multigenerational group blends rich harmonies and authentic storytelling to inspire and uplift. Whether performing in smalltown churches or open-air gatherings, their mission remains the same: to glorify God, strengthen families, and spread hope through every song.
Writing everything from heartfelt hymns to modern worship anthems, this married duo loves to weave together faith and music. After spending a decade in the secular sphere as Midnight Lights, Jason and Katie became obedient to God’s calling and began to devote themselves to creating music for worship and leading God’s people in praise as The Worship Union in 2022. They strive to give all the glory to God the Father and long for the day when we all rejoice around the throne singing “Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord, God Almighty!”
The Giesbrecht Family is a Country Gospel/Inspirational Music Group from Northern Alberta. They are a young family band who love performing well known hymns and modern bluegrass.
Jeremiah and Melanie along with their oldest five children are the main members of the band. Occasionally some of the younger children will join them onstage. Jeremiah writes original pieces and leads the band with his acoustic guitar and vocals. Melanie sings lead and harmonies, when she’s not busy with the four youngsters!
Their goal is to be faithful with the talent God has given them, and they feel privileged to be able to give back to our Creator in this way.
North Ridge Gospel is a country gospel trio known for their rich vocal harmonies and deeply rooted sound that bridges the gap between traditional gospel and classic country. Comprised of long-time collaborators Logan, Kari, and Aerylin, the group brings decades of musical experience to their newly formed project—an authentic return to the gospel music that first brought them together.
The trio’s journey began in their youth as they played country and gospel music in churches and community events. While each pursued their own musical path playing as semi-professional artists, a joined faith and friendship brought them back to their roots to form North Ridge Gospel.
Highlighting tight formed vocal arrangements and rich harmonies, the trio blends classic gospel songs with a contemporary country sound, thrilling listeners of all ages.
![]() | Since the days of the 90’s when the Kevin Quist family band was together a lot of things have changed. The girls are all raising families and involved in music ministries of their own. Kevin and Barbara live in the Teepee Creek community where they raise cattle and host a fellowship of Christian cowboys ministry. They still get together with family and friends to play music whenever they can. So maybe things haven’t changed all that much. Still loving God, family, friends, music, and sometimes cows. (If you have ever had cows you will understand. ) |
The core of the Rempel family group, brothers Terry and Ron, have been singing together all their lives. They live on ranches in Goodlow, BC, but both have other jobs. Ron owns a mechanics shop and Terry owns and operates equipment, either one of his hoes or the D8K he has. They enjoy singing with two of Ron’s daughters, Amanda and Erin, and Terry’s son, Dustin and his wife, Martha. Amanda and Erin are busy with their herd of 300 goats. Dustin is a farrier and horse trainer. Martha is a busy mom to Ruben and Rosa. Each one feels blessed to be able to do what they love for work and desire to honor the Lord through these activities and the songs that He gives them to sing.
This trio is unpredictable in what they play. Don ,Dave and Dan’s background is very different.
These three make an interesting recipe of music and testimony.
What’s in the stew is a half cup of old time, 1 cup 70’s country, 2 cups of Blues, 1 cup of rock,
a splash of blue grass, some Hymns, and a pinch of medal.
Then you add a whole lot of JESUS
Now you have a taste that nourishes all musical palets.
So what you hear from the stage GOD ONLY KNOWS
Aurora Gospel is a faith based group of friends who share a heritage of Worship and Praise and a commitment to declare the faithfulness of the Lord in both song and deed!
Some of my friends and I have been doing music for more years than most of us care to remember, but still love doing it. We hope and pray that what we sing and say, will be an encouragement and blessing to y’all as we sing about our Creator, Savior, and Lord, and songs that tell stories of life, family, good times, and bad – all redeemable by our friend Jesus. My friends and I hope that our time here together will draw us all a little closer to each other and to The One who loves us most, as we travel this journey of life with eternity in view.
