A drama in two acts
By Shane Rochon
Performed by the high school Drama students
What happens when you are trapped between fiction and reality? This is the dilemma that James is faced with as he is found on the side of a road without any memory of who he is. As he fights for his life as well as for the lives of those he once turned a blind eye to, both past and present will converge. Reality and fiction will collide for James, who finds nothing he expects and everything that matters. A new twist on the story of the prodigal son.
“Try not to miss out on this wonderful production. It brings attention to the tragically wicked slave trade industry in a profoundly touching way!”
We believe these are worthy topics to care about, and our students are optimistic that the story’s representation of hope and forgiveness will profoundly impact and resonate with the audience. Because the story makes subtle references to human trafficking, the play is suitable for ages 13 and up.
There will be two public performances at the school, where we hope you’ll join us:
Wednesday, May 8th – 7:00 pm 21783 – 76B Avenue Langley, BC
Thursday, May 9th – 7:00 pm 21783 – 76B Avenue Langley, BC
Tickets will be $15 per person and can be purchased on Vtix.
A portion of the proceeds from ticket sales will go towards Ratanak International (https://www.ratanak.org/), a Christian organization that works to restore and protect trafficking victims in Cambodia.
