| If there is one thing at NighShift Street Ministries we love — it’s coming together in community. While we gather 365 nights a year to share hope and a hot meal with neighbours in need, there is only one night of the year we gather with our community of support who makes NightShift’s vital outreach and services possible. Join us for our annual fundraiser “An Evening with NightShift”Friday, November 14, at a brand new venue, The Gables at Surrey Farms. By popular demand, NightShift will return to a cocktail-style mingle, with great eats, live music from the fabulous Accoustic Groove trio, and entertainment from renowned magician Jason Verners. You’ll have time to connect with friends old and new and peruse the line up of silent auction items, before sitting down for live auction and a short program, MC’ed by the one and only Curtis Braun. This year NightShift is raising funds for a much-need expansion to our ministry building in Surrey. As we grow, we ask How Much More can we share our mission of unconditional love, hope and purpose with people experiencing homelessness, poverty, addiction and social disconnection? How much more will a moment of God’s kindness change lives? How much more can we do together, than alone? | With your support, NightShift serves a hot, nutritious meal 365 nights a year to people in need, along with blankets and clothing, nursing and counselling care, drop-in centre, resources, and recovery programs.
