Join Our Team: Sales Clerk/Production Worker

About the Role:
This is a dynamic, dual-function position perfect for someone who enjoys a varied and active workday. You will be instrumental in both the customer-facing and back-end operations of our thrift store.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Clerk Duties:
Provide friendly and helpful customer service, including greeting customers and answering questions.
Operate the cash register, process transactions (cash, credit/debit), and manage end-of-day reconciliation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and attractive sales floor, including stocking shelves and arranging displays.
Production Worker Duties:
Sort, clean, and categorize donated items (clothing, housewares, electronics, etc.).
Inspect items for quality and determine their suitability for sale.
Price and tag merchandise accurately according to established guidelines.
Move and organize inventory in the back-of-house production area.
What You Bring:
A positive attitude and a passion for customer service.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move up to 25 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks.
Reliability and strong work ethic.
Basic math skills and experience with cash handling is a plus.
1 year of retail or production experience, Thrift experience an asset
