2026/2027 Teaching Positions

British Columbia Christian Academy (BCCA) is a Pre‑K to Grade 12 independent Christian school serving approximately 575 students, and operates a Kids Club (daycare centre) serving approximately 270 students in the Tri‑Cities area of British Columbia, Canada. We are passionate about equipping students to impact the world for Jesus Christ. Our motto—the three “C”s: Christ, Compassion, and Community—guides our vision and shapes what makes BCCA unique.

BCCA is seeking BC‑certified teachers for the following positions, with an intended start date of August 31, 2026.

Elementary School

• Kindergarten to Grade 4 Teacher (1.0 FTE) — 4 positions
• Grade 1 – Maternity coverage (0.65 FTE till Spring break 2027)
• Music Teacher, Grades K–4 (0.73 FTE)

Middle School

·         Grade 5 to Grade 8 Homeroom Teacher (1.0 FTE) — 4 positions
Successful candidates must be comfortable teaching Language Arts, Social Studies, Science, Mathematics, Bible and Physical Education. The ability to teach Art and/or French is an asset.

·         Music Teacher, Grades 5-8 (1.0 FTE)

High School

·         Drama / Theatre Production Teacher (0.28 FTE)

·         ASDT (0.86 FTE)

·         Careers (1.0 FTE)

The successful candidate will model servant leadership and integrate biblical principles into their work, fostering an environment that supports the school’s mission to glorify God and equip students for life and service. Teachers must agree with the school’s Mission, Vision and Statement of Faith and demonstrate a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour.
