Day / Overnight Camping / Field trips

CRITERIA

• University, college student or life experience.
• Experience working with children and youth.
• Has good computer skills.
• Will help to create an exciting, learning, and fun summer experience.
• Maintain safety, foster, and build bridges of nurturing, positive and mentoring relationships.
• Hold or willing to get a class 4 driver’s license (optional), First Aid and Food Safe Certificate.
• Has passion for working with children / youth (5-16 years) and can lead and /or assist in a variety of activities including: reading projects, sports, hiking, biking, field trips, bible discussion groups, servant leadership, gardening, canoeing, nutrition, science, biking, culinary and community projects, robotics, AI Awareness & positive applications, music /music therapy and drama.
• Able to teach /assist English, Math, Science, French, Computer, Sports, and sports related activities, etc. to elementary and high school students.
• Has good people and cross-cultural skills, good work ethic, works well in a team and has excellent references.
• Currently enrolled in a full-time program and /or plan on returning in 2025-2026.
• Need to have a criminal record check.
• Willing to work as part of a team supporting the vision of the camp.
• Must be flexible and willing to assist where needed.

Camp Coordinators will assist the Program Director with organizing, planning, and implementation of the program, with emphasis on safety. Plan, fun, creative,

kids-centred activities as required (having a class 5 driver’s license an asset).
