POSITION TITLE CCEM Area Coordinator

EFFECTIVE DATE When the appropriate person is identified

POSITION SUMMARY   To provide connections, leadership, and support for the growth
and development of CCEM in a particular area of Canada. Typically, a geographical section within a province.

PAY GRADE AND FUNDING
Volunteer / Donor Support / Stipend

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS

Reports to: Provincial Directors or Project Director(s) depending on area.
Supervises: Volunteers recruited to CCEM.

Relates to: All CCEM Associates, Church Taskforces, the CCEM Steering Committee, TeachBeyond Global Service providers, and the Project Support Team coordinator.

STATUS 16-24 hours/week

LOCATION Living in the area of service with significant work done remotely.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
Minimum undergraduate degree in one or more of the following: Education, Business Administration, Theology or Biblical Studies
Experience as a Teacher, Principal, or Coordinator of an educational organization, business, or not-for-profit entity.
Experience leading volunteer teams and supporting entrepreneurial leaders.
Have served on parent associations, school boards, and or Church boards
Exposure to a wide range of alternative educational models and mediums
Technical Skills:
Online meeting scheduling, coordinating, and presenting. (TEAMS & Zoom)
Competence in the use of Office 365 (MS TEAMS, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
Appreciation of social media
An ability and desire to learn and use a customer response management system (Bitrix) for tasks, data mining, and reporting.
Personal Skills:
Networking and relationship building
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
Mature Christian experience, sound judgment, and professional skills
Philosophy of life and lifestyle that aligns with the policies, objectives, and doctrinal position of TeachBeyond
Active participant in a local church

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Responsibilities and Duties

Support churches, parents and associate organizations in the development of Christ-centred educational initiatives in the designated area.
Pray for the Canadian Church and Christ-centered educational initiatives
Present CCEM professionally and compellingly to churches, parents, schools, and like-minded organizations
Connect regularly with Church Taskforces, and the Provincial Steering Committee
Serve as an ex-officio board member on select new CCEM TeachBeyond projects as the National Director’s designate.
Ensure the CRM (Bitrix) is updated for leads, contacts, projects, activities, expenditures, and tasks
Develop and maintain relationships with like-minded organizations
Monitor and report on CCEM KPIs and Outcomes
Visit CCEM projects regularly (Site Visits)
Engage with the Global Organizational Development department to develop new TeachBeyond projects in Canada.

Eight Month Deliverables | New Initiatives
Motivate local Church Taskforces in the area to launch at least (1)  Christ-centered educational initiative.
2 educational conferences represented by CCEM
4 new site visits of churches or parent groups
2 newly catalyzed Church-based Educational Taskforces
2 new surveys administered in cooperation with the National Steering Committee

12 Month Deliverables
1 new MOA Associate organization
4 additional new site visits of churches or parent groups

TEACHBEYOND GENERAL MEMBER EXPECTATIONS

Personal and Professional: the employee will participate actively in the local church, personal growth, and lifelong learning.
participate in mandatory CCEM and TeachBeyond meetings and conferences.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit; talk, hear, and operate a computer, telephone, and copier.
Vision requirements expected with computer work, reading, and writing
Ability to work in mobile and irregular settings
Ability to sit and/or stand at a computer for an extended period
Light to moderate lifting (up to 30 lbs.) is required for display units or banners
Driving during the day or night
Overnight travel, understanding long-distance flying is periodically required
