Sponsor Relations and Program Coordinator – Job Description
Summary
This position handles all Sponsor and Donor Processing department requests, including calls and emails with sponsors and donors regarding financial transactions and child information. Maintains financial and sponsor/child relationships within accounts. Allocates donations and commitments to appropriate funds and accounts. The position serves as a key contact for sponsors’ questions regarding details of their sponsored children and international programs, communicating through letters, emails and phone calls.
Accountability
The position reports to the Executive Director.
Work location: The CCI office located in Surrey, B.C.
Responsibilities:
· Serve CCI’s sponsors & donors by attending phone calls and solving their questions about their donations, contributions options and status of their sponsored children
· Research and resolve account problems, involving other associates when needed. Determine best pairings for sponsors’ requests, linking sponsors to children in a database system
· Update donor and beneficiaries’ information in a Contact Management System
· Create and send emails/letters to donors regarding their donations and the impact of their contributions
· Communicate with international partners regarding the needs of schools and beneficiaries.
· Receive children’s lists from the field partners and use this information to update dashboards
· Mail marketing materials to donors
· Serve CCI’s fundraising team with sponsorship materials, update resources and keep track of children available for each representative as well as on the website.
· Work within the automated workflow system to allocate sponsor/donor monies to the appropriate funds or accounts and maintain the sponsor/child relationship.
· Provide general administrative support and advice to other associates and international offices.
· Create physical and digital files for each sponsored child and sponsor

· Can-do attitude with an ability to remain calm and problem-solve under pressure
· Resourceful and independent; comfortable working within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
· Project management skills and ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision
· Ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, OneDrive and other contact management systems
Additional Assets
· Non-profit sector experience, in this or a related field
· Demonstrated interest in international development and sponsorship programs
· Post-secondary studies relevant to the position
The Work Environment and Physical Demands
· The position is based at the office in Surrey but serves and interacts with staff across a variety of time zones
· The individual will utilize available technology to accomplish the desired outcomes
