Position Overview:
Regent Christian Academy (RCA) seeks a passionate and dedicated educational
leader to join our team. This key leadership role will manage and oversee the
Inclusive Education Department, driving collaborative, comprehensive and excellent
student support that leads to student growth and success. The Inclusive Education
(IE) Director will collaborate with Principals and Vice Principals to drive forward the
mission and vision of RCA. The IE Director will also manage a team of 6 Learning
Support Teachers and jointly oversee the EA team.
● Start Date: May 2025 or August 19, 2025
● Full-Time Equivalency: 1.0 FTE
● Application deadline : February 14, 2025 or until fill
● Salary Range: $76,335 – $107,036

Key Responsibilities:
Providing sound inclusive educational leadership and advocacy for student support
within our K-12 Christian school. This position will report to the school principals and
oversee the IE department.
Spiritual Leadership:
● Is a servant leader leading a community of caring and learning
● Engages warmly with students, families, staff and others to foster a strong,
close-knit environment that is committed to educating students for His
kingdom
● Embodies ethical decision making with the Bible as their guide
Relational leadership:
● Fosters a collaborative work environment encourages educational excellence,
lifelong learning and collaboration between staff.
● Support LSTs and teaching staff with understanding and resources around
Universal Design for Learning and Inclusion
Instructional leadership:
● Support and promote the vision, mission and values of the school and of the IE
department. Lead the school with a vision and articulation of what Inclusive
Education means and looks like at RCA.
● Facilitating and cultivating a culture of learning at the school with regards to
Inclusive Education. Support Principal/VPs with Pro D when appropriate.
● Collect data and monitor our effectiveness within the department and school.
Organizational leadership:
● Maintain and create systems and structures for student interventions.
Communicate clearly to all schools the process and flo
● Manage and ensure proper documentation for all 1701 numbers
● Determine how IE budgetary resources will be delegated
● Strategically plan for better student learning and growth in the IE department
Preferred Qualification
● Masters of Education degree with a preference for specialization in Inclusive
Education.
● Valid British Columbia or other Canadian province’s teaching certificat
● Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
● Strong organizational and collaborative abilities.
● Understanding of current inclusive educational trends and best practices.
