Maintenance Director (Seasonal)

Kedleston Gospel Camp is looking for a Maintenance Director to help care for our facilities, grounds, and systems during the camp season. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a team that supports meaningful Christian Camping ministry.
What You’ll Do
● Maintain camp buildings, cabins, and grounds
● Handle day-to-day repairs (plumbing, doors, painting, general upkeep)
● Operate and monitor camp water and septic systems (training provided)
● Supervise and mentor custodial and grounds staff and set daily work routines
● Help prepare camp for summer start-up and ongoing operations
● Work closely with the Executive Director and Maintenance Committee to receive guidance for larger projects
Who We’re Looking For
● Someone practical, reliable, and willing to learn
● Comfortable taking direction and working within established systems
● Able to supervise others and keep tasks organized
● Experience working in camping ministry, schools, churches, or similar facilities is an asset
● Previous experience in maintenance, groundskeeping, or a related field is a strong asset
● Basic mechanical, plumbing, or other trades knowledge is a strong asset
● Valid driver’s license required
● Alignment with the mission and values of Kedleston Gospel Camp and a mature Christian Faith

● Wage: To be determined based on experience
● Location: On-site at Kedleston Gospel Camp
