Pacific Academy is inviting applications from qualified individuals for a full-time, continuing position as a Middle School Teacher. This position will commence in August, 2025.
Qualifications:
Successful candidates should:
- Hold a valid British Columbia teaching certificate
- Possess an understanding of and commitment to Christian Education
- Actively and personally support a Pentecostal/Charismatic statement of faith
- Be fluent in oral and written English
- Demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively, and be willing to cooperate in the planning and implementation of project based units with the grade team
- Have experience or willingness to participate in outdoor education planning and trips (i.e. Hiking, canoeing, snowshoeing)
- Teaching responsibilities include, but are not limited to, grade level core subjects (Faith and Learning, Literacy, Numeracy, Science, Social Studies and Outdoor Education including Summit program)
