Grade 4 Teacher

Tween Valley Christian School is seeking a Grade 4 Teacher for the Fall of 2025.

The Individual:

Individual Teacher should posses a strong desire and devotion to the teaching position.

The successful candidate should have a strong Christian Education philosophy who loves children and accepts this position as a ministry.

An appreciation and understanding of the Low German Language and the Mennonite Culture would be a definite asset.

Job Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons that integrate a biblical worldview
Foster a positive, Christ-centered classroom environment
Assess student progress and provide timely feedback
Model Christian character in word and deed
Support students’ academic, spiritual, and emotional growth
Collaborate with staff and communicate effectively with parents
Participate in devotions, chapel, and school community activities
Uphold the mission and values of the Christian school
Qualifications:

Must have a Bachelor of Education degree and must hold or be eligible for an Alberta teaching certificate.

Tween Valley Christian School is a private accredited Christian school located 13 kilometers south of Purple Springs, Alberta. Tween Valley Christian School is a small, yet growing rural, private, accredited Christian school near Taber, Alberta. The student enrollment is just over 200 students, offering Kindergarten to Grade 12.  The community is tightknit and consist primarily of Mennonite families. Our mission at TVCS is to provide quality Christian education to students in the local area.
