Come and See, the nonprofit organization dedicated to ensuring that all seven seasons of The Chosen are produced, translated into 600 languages, and globally accessible free to all, celebrates a historic milestone. The Chosen has been recognised for the second time by the Guinness World Records as the most translated season for a streaming series in history.
This achievement follows the organisation’s September 2025 record, when The Chosen Season 1 was recognised for being available in 86 languages. That record has now been surpassed, with Season 1 reaching 125 languages worldwide.
Since its debut, The Chosen has reached audiences in 175 countries and has generated over 280 million global viewers across streaming platforms and broadcast partners worldwide.
The Chosen is the first-ever multi-season TV show about the life of Jesus portraying His story through the eyes of those who knew Him. Come and See is able to make The Chosenpossible due to the generosity of supporters around the world joining in the mission to share the authentic Jesus.
The Guinness World Records’ recognition was presented at ChosenCon, an international gathering of fans, cast members and creators to celebrate the global impact of the series. With thousands in attendance, ChosenCon offers exclusive previews, panel discussions, interactive experiences, and behind the scenes access to the storytelling process.
“Because of global supporters and the extraordinary work of Come and See and their partners, I’m pretty sure this won’t be the last translation record we break,” said Dallas Jenkins, Creator and Director of The Chosen.
“Breaking our own Guinness World Record would not be possible without the generosity of thousands of supporters from all around the world,” said James Barnett, CEO of Come and See.”We are committed to translating and dubbing The Chosen into 600 languages and making it accessible for all. People need to hear the story of Jesus in their own language, the language they speak, dream, and pray in. This recognition is a testament to our team of over 200 expert linguists, local theologians, pastors, and biblical scholars from around the globe, working tirelessly to ensure our goal becomes a reality.”
All translations can be found on the Chosen app, which can be downloaded on App Store, Google Play, Fire TV, and Roku TV. The app also provides exclusive content such as behind-the-scenes videos, Bible roundtables, crew member prayer requests, exclusive documentaries, and more.
