Egyptian Ministry Ministers to Sudanese Girls

Reaching All Egypt, an Egypt-based ministry partnered with Intercede International, shares the hope of the Gospel with and also offers training and spiritual support to Egyptians and newcomers to that nation. Recently, Reaching All Egypt hosted a conference for Sudanese girls and youth at the Conference House in the Oasis – a centre run by RAE. At the conference, called “No Regrets,” 60 young girls gathered for a life-changing experience. Guided by the verse, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it” (Proverbs 4:23), the event created a safe and inspiring space for growth, learning, and fun. Led by a dedicated team of servants, the program blended teaching sessions, interactive workshops, spiritual reflections, and recreational activities such as swimming, games, and evening gatherings. The sessions addressed essential topics: building a strong and unique character, setting dreams and goals, managing the influence of media, understanding healthy boundaries, and embracing a fresh start with confidence.

The ultimate aim was to help every girl and young woman to recognize her worth, protect her values, and live with dignity. Feedback from participants was deeply encouraging, reported RAE leader Bassem [name changed for security reasons] to Intercede in the ministry’s December Field Report. Above all, the girls testified that the conference brought them closer to God, their peers, and their own true identity – equipping them to walk forward with strength, joy, and no regrets.

Vocational Training

Vocational training is another key focus of RAE. Freddy is a young man from Aswan. He heard about RAE’s training programs and travelled from Aswan to Cairo to learn tailoring. Freddy has a disability in one of his hands. His trainer said, “He won’t be able to use the sewing machine.” But Freddy insisted. He wanted to learn so he could start his own business, making traditional loose galabeya garments in Upper Egypt.

When the training started, he found the manufacturing process difficult. But with encouragement and persistence, he learned. Freddy actually became one of the most skilled trainees in the course. He now helps his father in their tailoring shop in Aswan. “The word ‘hope’ is so much more than wishful thinking,” declared Bassem. “It is the confident expectation of what God has promised. We saw a glimpse of the Kingdom, a reminder that no heart is beyond the reach of grace. This is the hope we are called to proclaim. We invite you to stand with us, sharing this hope with those who need it most.”
