Soul Care Retreats

Soul Care® Music, Retreats & Spiritual Formation, founded in 2003 and directed by Cathy AJ Hardy, is based in the Fraser Valley of BC.  Offering music, retreats and spiritual direction, Soul Care is a ministry aimed at providing places, sounds and experiences for the nurture of the soul.

Soul Care® provides on-line and in person retreats throughout the year, Spiritual Direction accompaniment by a team of Spiritual Directors, formation programs for those interested in deepening the inner life and resources of music, books and more, and a Spiritual Direction training program for those interested in the art of accompanying others.

Soul Care® Retreats – from ½ day to four-day on-line or in-person retreats, these soul care experiences are meant to offer an opportunity for stillness, rest, restoration and renewal of the soul.  Some in-person locations are:  Westminster Abbey in Mission, BC, Mount St. Francis in Cochrane, AB, Mount Carmel Spiritual Centre in Niagara Falls, and The Mark Centre in Abbotsford.

Soul Care® Music – Evenings of Sung Prayer and Soul Care Concerts are created to open the heart for prayer, inspiration, and care for the soul.  Annual Evenings of Sung Prayer are returning at the Westminster Abbey in Mission BC for May, 2024.  Cathy’s many recordings of contemplative prayer songs and music of inspiration for the heart and soul can be found on spotify, itunes, and youtube.

Spiritual Formation – For those interested in receiving Spiritual Direction, there is a growing team of Spiritual Directors working together with the Soul Care ministry.  There are also 3 separate year-long programs for those interested in going deeper with their inner spiritual journey.  Lastly, there is a Soul Care Spiritual Direction training program for those interested in the art of accompanying others in spiritual care.
